Overview
Sr Data Scientist role at Spectrum. This role is part of the Operational Analytics & Insight (OAI) team and focuses on AI-powered analytics, machine learning models, segmentation strategies, and business intelligence solutions to influence decision-making and business performance.
Responsibilities
Lead the full analytics lifecycle from problem identification and data acquisition to model deployment, performance monitoring, and business integration.
Develop, deploy, and monitor AI-driven models; perform predictive and prescriptive analytics, segmentation, and marketing/sales analytics strategies.
Simplify complex insights for executive decision-makers through compelling storytelling and data visualization.
Mentor junior data scientists and analysts; collaborate cross-functionally to align AI and analytics solutions with organizational objectives.
Drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve common goals and ensure data science initiatives impact business performance.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Data manipulation and statistical modeling (5+ years); programming experience (5+ years).
Roles include Scientist, Consultant, Architect, DBA, or Engineer.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, operations research, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
Predictive analytics, prescriptive analytics, AI, machine learning, NLP, and statistical modeling.
ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and NLP libraries (spaCy, Hugging Face).
Programming in Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and model development.
Big data processing (Apache Spark, Databricks); cloud deployment (Azure, AWS); MLOps and production monitoring.
Sales and marketing analytics, customer segmentation, attribution modeling, demand forecasting.
Experience with AI-driven competitive intelligence, web scraping, NLP, social media analytics.
Executive communication and ability to present insights to diverse audiences.
UX considerations for AI-driven dashboards and BI applications.
Other: Hybrid schedule – four days in-office weekly.
Preferred Skills
Experience designing and deploying AI solutions using Microsoft Azure ML, Databricks, AWS, Redshift, and Fabric.
Base pay and related details This role has a base pay range of $88,330.00/yr - $156,530.00/yr. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience. The posted base pay may be complemented by additional compensation according to local laws and applicable incentives. This posting will remain open until 2025-10-15 05:00 AM (UTC) and may be extended.
