Responsibilities
Architecture & Strategy Design and modernize data architectures for Azure AI Foundry, aligning with enterprise AI and analytics strategies. Develop scalable solutions using Azure PaaS services such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Cosmos DB, and Azure Machine Learning. Architect AI workloads using reference models for generative AI (e.g., LLMs, RAG) and non-generative AI (e.g., predictive analytics, classification). Implementation & Integration Lead end-to-end data platform modernization efforts including migration, transformation, and optimization. Integrate AI services such as Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and Azure AI Studio into data pipelines and applications. Ensure seamless data flow across structured and unstructured sources using ETL/ELT pipelines. Governance & Security Implement data governance, lineage, and cataloging using Purview and other Azure-native tools. Enforce security, compliance, and privacy standards across AI and data workloads. Apply Well-Architected Framework principles to ensure reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Collaboration & Leadership Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Act as a technical advisor in architectural design sessions and customer engagements. Qualifications
12+ years of experience in data architecture, cloud platforms, and enterprise data solutions. Deep expertise in Azure data services: Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, Cosmos DB. Experience with AI/ML platforms: Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, Databricks, PyTorch, scikit-learn. Strong understanding of AI architecture patterns including GenAIOps, MLOps, and RAG. Proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, and real-time analytics. Familiarity with data governance tools and frameworks. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
