Overview Application Developer .Net, SQL for a contract position. This position is onsite in the South Bay area.

Responsibilities

Application support, analyses, development, and enhancement.

Enhancement requests, review backlog items, and refine requirements.

Perform code reviews.

Testing to validate .NET and SQL changes in development or QA.

Update and maintain documentation.

Monitor performance metrics.

Deployments.

Optimize database performance, tune SQL queries, and manage indexes.

Prepare management reports.

Gather requirements for new projects or enhancements.

What you will need

.NET technologies

(C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) – application development and maintenance.

Strong SQL

to write complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and database design.

Experience in application maintenance and enhancement, debugging, and implementing new features.

SDLC,

Agile .

Gather requirements, document business and technical requirements, and functional specifications.

System integration.

API-based solutions – REST and SOAP.

Git, TFS, and deployment processes.

Azure or AWS.

DevOps practices.

Highly Preferred

Mainframe: COBOL, JCL.

Job scheduling tools and batch processing.

Business process modeling.

Data flow diagrams.

Education

Bachelors Degree.
