Responsibilities
Build and manage a team of engineers focused on delivering high-performance, low-latency platforms and applications
Drive the execution of a technical roadmap to enhance product delivery and unlock new engineering capabilities
Identify and mitigate project risks while presenting detailed solutions to stakeholders
Cultivate a culture of psychological safety and continuous improvement within the engineering team
Develop and manage the team budget, reporting on results achieved at regular intervals
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience
At least 3 years of hands-on people leadership experience
5+ years of experience in building large-scale, mission-critical applications
Proficiency in Java, GraphQL, SQL, and AI/ML technologies
Experience with cloud architecture and DevOps concepts
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience specifically building products with AI and ML
Familiarity with micro-services-oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs
Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments
In-depth knowledge of computer science data structures and algorithms
