APP/ Advanced Practice Provider, Emergency Department Harborview Medical Center's Emergency Department is looking for a highly qualified Advance Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our level 1 trauma center ED. This position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible full-time and part-time new employees joining UW Medicine.

Responsibilities

Providing clinical expertise to patients and their families.

A resource person for health care providers.

Participation in research and teaching programs.

General independence and decision-making responsibility under the general guidance of attending physicians, chief resident, and department Nurse Manager.

Adherence to guidelines including general policy procedures and practice guidelines established by the department and Harborview Medical Center, as well as applicable professional and technical manuals.

Work is performed in the Emergency Department 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Requirements

ARNP: Hold/obtain a Washington state Registered Nurse license (or MSL) and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license to practice in Washington.

PA: Hold/obtain a Physician Assistant license to practice in Washington state.

ARNP Board Certification by ANCC or AAPP.

PA Board Certification from NCCPA.

ARNP: Graduated from an accredited nursing program.

PA: Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant studies program.

ARNP and PA prescriptive authority.

ARNP and PA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Compensation, Benefits And Position Details Pay Range Minimum:

$121,392.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$189,876.00 annual

Other Compensation:

Sign on Bonus $10,000; Night premium - $4.50/hour; Weekend premium - $4.00/hour; Overtime pay
