A nonprofit, multi-service, community-based behavioral healthcare organization dedicated to building healthy communities, one person at a time, is seeking a passionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist to join its Brooklyn-based team. Full-Time Contract Key Responsibilities
Carry a caseload of 55–60 clients, providing ongoing therapy and clinical support Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor client progress Deliver counseling and interventions to address mental health, trauma, and substance use concerns Support clients impacted by domestic violence, criminal justice involvement, chronic homelessness, and/or HIV/AIDS Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community partners to ensure continuity of care Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with organizational and funding standards Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling Licensure required: LMSW, LMHC, LCAT, or LCSW Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals affected by substance use, domestic violence, criminal justice involvement, mental illness, chronic homelessness, or HIV/AIDS Strong therapeutic skills with the ability to engage diverse populations Ability to balance a high caseload while maintaining quality, client-centered care Benefits and Perks
