Overview
LPL Financial is seeking a Vice President for our Product team to support the strategy and execution of business objectives. This role will work closely with a broad spectrum of stakeholders including executive leaders and their peers across the firm. Responsibilities will include a combination of strategic planning, problem solving, and supporting ad-hoc initiatives as they arise. The VP will support the Product team in framing strategic initiatives, collecting, refining, and distributing executive-level updates. The candidate should contextualize complex problems drawing from disciplines such as strategy development, business analysis, process management, operations, and systems analysis. A successful candidate will possess strategic foresight and be skilled in engaging in high-level discussions with executive leadership. Responsibilities
Leverage strong communication and presentation skills to synthesize complex issues into easily understandable forms for various audiences Summarize data and insights into executive-level presentations to facilitate business decision making Support the product delivery teams in articulating the commercial business value of technical platform enhancements Create executive briefing packs prior to key advisor visits and conferences Create / update Management Committee, Investment Committee and Board of Directors, monthly reviews, and other leadership deliverables Assist in proactively communicating initiative details across all levels of the organization and across multiple departments For key business initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders to frame scope, goals, and deliverables that support business needs Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for change within the current ecosystem Collaborate with leaders, subject matter experts and users to communicate the proposed solution vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs Create documents, frameworks, visions, and analysis (quantitative and qualitative) to help solve critical business issues Requirements
Bachelor’s degree 5+ years’ experience in corporate strategy, strategic consulting and/or strategic program management Core Competencies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong quantitative and analytical abilities Proven track record of coordinating large-scale efforts across multiple business units Demonstrated ability to develop, iterate, and execute strategies and plans Experience gathering feedback from stakeholders and sharing ideas Ability to adapt to change, work independently and in teams, and manage initiatives to deliver results within tight timeframes Ability to manage large sets of tasks and prioritize multiple project requests Detail oriented and organized, comfortable in ambiguous situations Ability to build strong partnerships across teams Financial services experience is a plus Pay Range
$132,000-$220,000/year Actual base salary varies based on factors including relevant skill, prior experience, education, internal peers’ base salary, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
