Manage patient care delivery on three units, Neuro-Adult Psychiatry & Rehab — serving as a clinical resource and administrator in the absence of unit leaders or when care-related issues arise. Facilitate efficient and cost-effective daily operations of the unit(s) in relation to patient throughput including admissions, discharges and transfers. Promote a culture of safety and quality by ensuring continuity and consistency in the implementation of established standards, protocols, policies and procedures. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to establish unit short- and long-term goals and align with the hospital’s strategic goals. Monitor staff compliance with regulatory, hospital and divisional requirements. Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Current New York State RN license Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Neuro-Rehab & / or Psych Demonstrated leadership competencies BLS certification from the American Heart Association Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills Strong commitment to providing an outstanding patient experience Preferred Criteria
Master's Degree in related area American Nurses Credentialing Center approved national board Certification Position Details
