Overview
Trillium Construction is hiring for a Senior Heavy Civil Project Manager in Chicago, IL to help oversee a large multi-year transit improvement project. Candidates in this position will be managing multiple stakeholders, driving schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end management of infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, bridges, drainage systems, utility networks, site development). Develop project plans, milestones, budgets, and risk registers. Oversee procurement, contract negotiations, and vendor management. Manage on-site execution, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Coordinate with engineers, architects, surveyors, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies. Monitor and control project scope, time, cost, and quality. Provide regular project updates to internal and external stakeholders. Resolve issues and conflicts efficiently to avoid project delays. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement. Compensation
Annual salary between $150,000 - $200,000 Per diem M/V/D benefits PTO Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Minimum 10-15 years of project management experience in infrastructure or heavy civil construction. PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification . Strong knowledge of construction safety, local building codes, and environmental regulations. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Strong written and verbal communication.
