Orthopaedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner Job with SSM Health in Saint Charles, MO
SSM Health Orthopedics-First Capitol Drive on the campus of SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - St. Charles, is recruiting for an Orthopedic Sports Medicine Advanced Practitioner. The Orthopedic specialists offer a broad range of services addressing the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries. Responsibilities
Care for acute and established patients with sports-related injuries in a clinic and inpatient setting. See post-op patients and perform joint injections; occasionally cover surgical first assist. Anticipated clinic schedule of Mon/Wed/Fri at SSM Health Orthopedics-First Capitol Drive. Provide surgical first assist at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital-St. Charles on Tue/Thu. Maintain Monday-Friday business hours with no call, no evenings, and no weekends. Anticipated clinical volume of 10-15 patients per day once onboarded. Join an experienced team of Orthopedic Surgeons and APPs with full support staff including MA/RN. Strong department onboarding and mentorship; collaborative team culture. Qualifications
Must have orthopedic surgery experience post-training or specific rotational experience in orthopedic surgery during training. Surgical First Assist experience. Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with RNFA certification or PA-C. Ability to obtain licensure in the state of Missouri. About SSM Health
