Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a MRI Tech for their Honolulu, HI location.
Responsibilities
Performs clinical diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and other procedures associated with the production of MRI images. Provides patient care during procedures. Essential: standing, sitting, walking, stooping/bending, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking, lifting/carrying usual weight of 1 pound up to 30 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds; horizontal lift/carry up to 50 pounds, and repetitive arm and wrist movement consistent with computer/mouse usage. Occasional: kneeling, squatting, twisting body, reaching above, at, and below shoulder, repetitive arm/hand motions. Requirements
Current certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.). If not certified, certification must be obtained within one (1) year of entrance into the position. Current BLS/HCP certification. One (1) year as a registered technologist in a medical imaging field employing cross sectional imaging techniques. Prior recent MRI technologist experience preferred. Experience to demonstrate: Knowledge of computers, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology required. Knowledge of MRI safety operations and capabilities. Why Should You Apply?
