The Water/Wastewater Project Manager will focus on water/wastewater infrastructure design and in-depth design engineering experience in municipal conveyance, treatment, and pumping systems in our Chicago, IL office. This role offers an opportunity to progress along the project management career path with a focus on client business growth, project delivery leadership, and mentoring of engineering staff by leveraging regional and national water/wastewater capabilities. Responsibilities
Serves as Project Manager on medium to large water/wastewater treatment plants and pump station projects Prepares technical memoranda, planning studies and final design calculations, plans and specifications Provides technical direction and mentorship for junior staff Coordinates with other discipline leads, clients, consultants, and agencies in management and implementation of projects Participates in all aspects of project delivery, including scope, schedule, finance, and quality Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule Builds and maintains relationships with clients and industry professionals Assists in identifying opportunities, development of proposals and statement of qualifications Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: BA/BS and 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Preferred Qualifications: 8+ years of water infrastructure design experience Professional Engineer (PE) Experience working on municipal projects Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering Additional Information
