As a Software Developer, you will collaborate with a global cross-functional team to design, develop and implement software tools utilizing Agile development methodologies. This is a fast-paced environment with an opportunity to work with new technologies to modernize legacy software tools. Responsibilities
Work with the technical architect, business analyst, and stakeholders to develop and implement modern software tools to support product design, testing and validation. Develop detailed technical designs and project plans. Implement solutions to enable robust, efficient, and secure software performance. Mentor, train, and develop team members to upgrade existing software tools and develop new tools. Qualifications
Degree Requirement:
A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field. What You Need To Have: Technical Excellence: At least 5 years of experience with C# and .NET programming framework and hands-on experience in database design (Oracle or SQL). Effective Communications: The ability to effectively communicate with end users and business leaders. Top Candidates Will Have: Technical Excellence: Experience in modernizing legacy software tools. Knowledge of agile software development methodologies, user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) designs. Managing Multiple Priorities: A sense of urgency and organizational skills are required to work with multiple projects and competing priorities. About Caterpillar

Summary Pay Range:
$120,299.00 - $180,449.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar. Benefits
