Overview
The Federal Acquisitions Senior Technical Writer in the federal client’s Executive Secretary’s Office must understand strategic writing, policy analysis, and executive-level coordination skills. This position supports the office of the federal client’s Executive Secretary by ensuring high-quality, timely, and accurate acquisition communications across all agency components. Responsibilities
Produce clear, concise, and accurate documents using plain language standards; demonstrate excellent professional writing and editing skills. Oversee and take responsibility for the efforts of less senior staff. Research to gather, verify, and analyze information; interpret and convey data reports to federal agency administrators. Perform technical reviews of executive-level documentation to ensure consistency with directives, format, grammar, syntax, audience, and style. Develop new documentation or review and recommend edits to existing draft materials, including: Templates; training and other information materials; diagrams, charts, tables, lists, and other graphics; briefing materials; directives, instructions, standard operating procedures, guidebooks, and other reference material; reports, white papers, and similar documents; memoranda and other executive correspondence. Provide extensive acquisition support and policy analysis, synthesizing complex operational and technical data into clear, actionable insights. Qualifications
Over 10 years of technical writing experience in DHS, the U.S. Armed Forces, or other security-focused agencies. MA/MS degree in English, technical writing, communications, journalism, public administration, political science, homeland security, business administration, or related discipline. Employment details
