Serco District of Columbia, United States We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced candidate to serve as an Office Manager supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Industrial Operations Directorate (SEA 04). In this role, you will work onsite in Washington D.C., with 1-3 days a week at the Navy Yard, while helping to oversee direct support to NAVSEA 04's mission. This position is contingent upon your ability to transfer and maintain a DoD Interim Secret level clearance. Responsibilities
Provide Program Office Coordination and Technical Support to SEA 04C. Work closely with the designated SEA 04C POC to provide support for SEA 04 Microsoft SharePoint Site Administration, New Employee Onboarding, Conference and Training Management, SEA 04 HR policies, procedures, and related processes, and other duties as assigned. Employ requisite DoD and DoN networked systems to provide such technical services to SEA04 and its Directorates. Support shall include conducting data reviews, developing analyses, generating reports and briefings, creating visualizations, and coordinating material, personnel, and resources to support Program Office operations. Work closely with senior government personnel to coordinate milestone reviews, disseminating meeting material/information, coordinating participant schedules, and ensuring meetings/reviews are successfully executed. Support government personnel in the development of program communications to include technical briefs, responses to inquiries from program stakeholders, and consolidating information for use in official responses to stakeholders. Ensure development of project planning documentation outlining the management approach, management controls, organizational resources to be employed, deliverables, and delivery dates, etc. Ensure development of full-scale project plans. The PMO Analyst III will support SEA 04C (Corporate Operations) as an office manager. Organizes material and completes writing assignments according to set standards regarding clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology. Reviews and edits material prepared by other writers and recommends revisions or changes in scope, format, and content. Assist/lead with preparing briefing material for leadership. Review, format and route correspondence for signature. Input new action items in appropriate tracking system and mark complete the reviewed items via Program Office letters. Locate/retrieve/reproduce and distribute documents. Update tracking systems with information from weekly correspondence update meetings. Apply process improvement techniques to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall Program Office effectiveness. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in any business, technical, or managerial discipline or related field with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience working in NAVSEA or Navy/DoD environments. In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for 9 or more years of comparable work or military experience. Demonstrated knowledge of DoD program management, technical, or business management. Experience communicating with senior government personnel is required. Intermediate level experience with SharePoint, Power Point and Excel. Deliver high quality documentation free from errors, and communicate effectively. Ability to perform data analysis and develop data visualizations (novice to intermediate level). Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and techniques. SharePoint, Power Automate, and PowerBi experience preferred. Up to 10% travel may be required. Work Site: The position is hybrid with some time each week at the Washington Navy Yard. Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation: Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers. Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations. Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer. Salary: The salary range for this role is $73,552.19 to $119,523.82 in compliance with District of Columbia’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.
