As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. You will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment within a residential community. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and assisting residents and visitors with professionalism and courtesy. You will use your observation skills and customer service experience to respond to inquiries and support the community's needs. $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule Day Time Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to deter unauthorized access and observe unusual activity Document incidents and observations according to Allied Universal protocols and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel Collaborate with property management and/or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to deter disturbances and provide reassurance to residents and visitors What We’re Looking For

Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred Alarm panel experience is preferred Access control or badge experience is preferred Customer service experience is preferred Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles Possess a high school diploma or equivalent Background investigation will be conducted as required by law Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws Drug screen required where permitted by law Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only Why Join Us
