In recent years, Double Good has seen 40% year over year growth, and we're excited about our future! We are building a high fidelity and scalable modern data platform at Double Good. We are looking to hire a motivated BI Engineer to join us on the ground floor of this exciting movement. You will play a pivotal role in executing our data strategy and fostering data-driven decision-making across the organization. Location: hybrid based out of our Chicagoland offices (Downtown Chicago and/or Elmhurst). Responsibilities

Data Product Development: Build prioritized Data Products, including dashboards and data assets, that provide actionable insights for Double Good decision makers. Drive end-to-end with the agile data product development framework from business value and end state to relevant data models and compelling visualizations in Looker. Last Mile Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain reliable last mile data pipelines using dbt with Snowflake, creating relevant tables and views for performant Data Products. Advanced Analytics: Perform complex data analysis to uncover actionable insights and trends and present recommendations to leadership. Collaborative Work: Work closely with data and analytics engineers as well as business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of Data Products. Data Quality and Governance: Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of robust data quality standards, high-quality documentation and governance processes. Continuous Improvement: Conduct technical research and data profiling using Python and SQL as needed to recommend innovative data solutions that create business value. Experience & Skills we value

3+ years of experience in BI & Analytics roles with strong exposure to Analytics/Data Engineering Strong expertise in building insightful visualizations and presentations in any modern BI tools; Looker or similar tool experience is a plus Passion for tackling complex business problems, systems, and data challenges, with a continuous drive for innovation Exceptional communication skills with an ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences Proven experience in working with large datasets with focus on efficient querying, data quality testing and automation Advanced expertise in SQL, with dbt and Snowflake experience; intermediate or more in Python Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Nice to have

Familiarity with modern Data Governance principles, including metrics governed by semantic layer Experience building Data Products that scale at a hyper-growth startup Experience with Manufacturing industries and ERP (Microsoft D365) will be advantageous Equal Pay Disclosure

Base Pay range for this position: Base: $80,000 - $120,000 annually Target Annual Bonus: 10% of base salary The final discretionary compensation offered depends on factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
