A K-12 school in Chicago, IL seeks an experienced School Psychologist to support the academic, social, and emotional needs of its diverse student population. This contract role spans the full school year. Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' learning and behavioral needs Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and administration Provide counseling and interventions to support student well-being and academic success Consult with educators and staff to implement effective strategies for student support Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Qualifications
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field Valid Illinois School Psychologist certification/license Experience working with K-12 students in assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention Strong knowledge of psychological testing tools and educational laws Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload Location
