The Analytics team empowers Envoy customers with the insights they need to optimize the use of their spaces. We build data visualizations, dashboards, and export tools to help companies understand visitor patterns, occupancy trends, and workplace behavior. Our goal is to make workplace data actionable and accessible, with close collaboration with design and product to build intuitive, reliable analytics experiences backed by scalable infrastructure. We are looking for engineers who take ownership and enjoy working across data and UX, transforming complex data into actionable insights for thousands of workplaces worldwide. This on-site position requires 4 days a week (Monday through Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ office. Responsibilities
Design and deliver enterprise-grade services (≈25% Frontend, 75% Backend) Build data systems end-to-end: pipelines, ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, and visualization Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to ship impactful features Champion quality, security, reliability, and performance in everything you build Tackle incidents head-on, eliminate bottlenecks, and squash bugs Raise the bar through peer reviews, CI, and automated testing Join a fantastic team and make a visible impact from day one You are

2+ years of full-stack software engineering experience A BS/MS in Computer Science or related field Experience designing, developing, and consuming customer-facing APIs Background building data-intensive applications Strong grasp of core software engineering principles Proficiency with Git/GitHub and familiarity with CI/CD Excellent problem-solving and clear communication skills Nice to have
Familiarity with Kotlin or Java, React or Ember Experience working with Postgres or Redshift, including data modeling Exposure to data engineering topics like pipelines, ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, or visualization Compensation and notices
