Prepare and review sales and use tax returns for multi-states to comply with state and local regulations Prepare and review journal entries, perform account reconciliations, identify variances, and determine corrective actions Review purchase invoices to determine taxability and review use tax accruals for accuracy Review customers\' sales tax exemption certificates according to state requirements and update systems Maintain setups in Vertex O series for sales and purchase transactions Prepare supporting documents for requests from external auditors Research tax rules and regulations for various sales and purchase transactions and stay current with changes in tax law Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree required (Accounting preferred); CPA helpful 3-5 years of multi-state tax accounting experience Experience researching tax rules and regulations for products and services General accounting experience with knowledge of GAAP Oracle and Tableau experience a plus Strong Excel skills required Proficiency with Vertex Indirect Tax O Series and Vertex Returns, or similar tax management system Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively Salary

Anticipated salary range: $69,300 - $103,770 annually Workstyle

Hybrid work arrangement: in the office Monday to Wednesday with option to work from home the remainder of the week; schedules may change based on business needs Company and Employment Details
