Develop ML models for various recommendation and search systems using deep learning, online learning, and optimization methods Work closely with other scientists, engineers and product managers to expand product insights with data, create experiments to determine high-impact projects to include in planning roadmaps Stay up-to-date with advancements and the latest modeling techniques in the field Publish research findings in top conferences and journals A day in the life
We’re using advanced approaches such as foundation models to connect information about videos and customers from multiple sources, processing data at scale to enable accurate recommendations, including in cold-start scenarios. We seek creative and customer-obsessed machine learning scientists who can apply the latest research and state-of-the-art algorithms to build scalable page personalization solutions. You’ll be a research leader and hands-on ML practitioner, guiding and collaborating with engineers, scientists, and senior leaders in Prime Video. You’ll also have opportunities to publish your research at internal and external conferences. Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience building models for business applications PhD, or Master’s degree with 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language Experience in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing Preferred Qualifications
