About the Role
Verkada is in search of an exceptional Senior Manager of AMER Field Marketing—a true rockstar in the field. We need someone who not only excels in their craft but can also lead a team to unparalleled execution and innovation. This person will team up with sales leadership to drive prospect engagement and success across the geography, hire and lead a growing team of field marketers across the region, partner tightly with the digital and acquisition team to drive demand, and work with our channel team and partners to develop and support a best-in-class ecosystem cloud/physical security expertise.
Our preference is for this role to be based out of our headquarters in San Mateo, CA. However, we are open to candidates working from one of our other U.S. offices located in Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Austin, New York, or Philadelphia.
What You'll Do
Build and scale in-person field programs with a focus on driving new prospects into and down the funnel.
Drive the creation of quarterly plans focused on actionable and measurable initiatives aligned to attendees, pipeline and bookings target.
Partner with sales and acquisition demand generation managers to help drive net new prospects to field programs.
Work with our channel teams to develop in field co-marketing motions with strategic top partners.
Act as a player coach directly executing and owning a broad range of activities to help scale your programs.
Manage and act on daily data, insights, and results from field marketing programs.
Support field initiatives and attend events or meetings, with travel as needed based on business priorities.
What You Bring
8+ years of marketing experience (preferably in a B2B IT, high-tech environment).
Expert understanding of best in class execution of events logistics, thought leadership and demand generation.
Experience as a leader and manager of a high performing team of at least 3 direct reports.
Strong ability to dive deep into the data and metrics to understand what lever can be pulled to consistently improve results.
Proven ability to act as an executive partner to sales and to engage with prospects or customers at every level.
Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiences.
Strong SFDC and Marketo/Hubspot experience.
Attention to detail and a willingness to dive deep to see what’s working where you can innovate.

Annual Pay Range At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs).
Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
$145,000 - $170,000 USD
