The Company is in search of an SVP, Communications Planning and Strategy to lead the development of a high-performing team and provide expert guidance on client and media planning strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire planning process for dedicated client groups, collaborating with various teams to ensure the achievement of client goals, and enforcing quality standards in the team's planning strategy and execution. This critical role involves interpreting research, providing thought leadership, and coaching the team to develop planning strategies that maximize media dollars and efficiency. The SVP will also be involved in strategic positioning, segmentation initiatives, and holistic program planning, and will be expected to grow the team's media knowledge, particularly in the areas of data and technology. Applicants for the SVP position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' media planning experience, with at least 5 years in a media agency environment, specifically on a comms planning or strategy team. The role requires a proven track record of leading a team, experience in global business planning, and a strong background in digital media.
