Handle workers’ compensation cases from intake through resolution Represent clients before the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission Conduct hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations Draft and review pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements Provide legal counsel and develop tailored case strategies Maintain strong client communication and deliver effective advocacy Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure excellent case management Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Maryland (required) 2+ years of experience in Maryland workers’ compensation law, including hearings before the Commission Strong oral advocacy, negotiation, and legal writing skills Ability to manage a busy caseload and stay organized Commitment to client service and professional integrity Why This Is a Great Opportunity
