Requirements
An Associate’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience; alternatively, 12 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
A current Department of Defense (DoD) Secret-level security clearance (at a minimum) is essential for consideration.
Candidates must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret-level security clearance as a condition of continued employment.
Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs as a condition of employment is required.
A Security CE certification (or higher) is mandatory; maintaining the required certification will be a condition of remained employment.
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is necessary.
Proficiency in configuring, administering, and maintaining Red Hat or other types of Linux systems is expected.
Responsibilities
Work within a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environment.
Utilize expertise in Knowledge Security Implementation Guide (JSIG) and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG).
Monitor and report High-Performance Computing (HPC) system health and metrics.
Identify performance issues and bottlenecks.
Adjust system-wide parameters to enhance performance and evaluate the effects of those changes.
Compile data and present findings effectively.
Configure and uphold a secure computing environment.
Scan, patch, and reinforce the computing environment to meet customer needs.
Gather, audit, and preserve necessary log data for the system.
Create necessary artifacts to support the assessment and authorization of the system.
Provide suggestions to enhance security and usability of the system.
Be prepared for occasional travel as required.
