Our Civil Engineering team plans, designs, reconfigures, and fixes how buildings connect to the actual built world.
The Opportunity
Use Civil 3D software to layout roads, drainage systems and utility systems as well as site grading and earthwork designs
Use hydraulic modeling tools such as Hydraflow and EPANET to analyze and design stormwater, sanitary, potable water systems, and flood protection systems
Research and apply codes, specifications and standards for design of the above elements
Coordinate with other disciplines to apply skills in delivering sustainable outcomes
Apply understanding of all phases of the planning, design and construction process
Research requirements of regulatory environment for gaining approval at different stages of project delivery
Engage with project stakeholders and clients to develop designs that meet needs and concerns
Support development of report writing, calculation packages, and specifications
What we look for
Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering, or relevant engineering degree
Sound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals
Experience with CAD software
Professional demeanor
Good communication skills essential for team-based working
Ability to perform in a deadline driven environment
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment
Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges
Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future

San Francisco Hiring Range: $77,500 - $84,500 per year
Los Angeles Hiring Range: $74,000 - $81,500 per year
