Overview
MaineHealth Behavioral Health (MHBH) at MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital is seeking an Inpatient Psychiatrist to join a dynamic medical staff. The Psychiatrist will utilize a diverse, multidisciplinary care team. These care teams are made up of advanced practice professionals, nursing, social work, discharge planning, psychiatric technicians, an employment specialist, programming specialists and a family navigator, all aiming to support patients with complex biopsychosocial presentations common in mental healthcare delivery today.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School.
Completion of internship and psychiatric residency and/or fellowship training.
Current and valid license as a physician by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine or eligible.
Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or be eligible for examination by the American Board as documented by written evidence.
Board Certified or board eligible in general psychiatry.
Current DEA Registration Certificate.
3+ years’ experience inclusive residency and/or fellowship training.
