The seat blends technical expertise with business partnership — ideal for a hands-on CPA with deep real estate debt and fund accounting experience who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
Provide financial leadership on acquisitions, dispositions, securitizations, and fund financing transactions Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-office Finance Team, promoting ownership, efficiency, and collaboration Manage relationships with third-party fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors Oversee daily liquidity analysis, cash management, and fund-level reporting for seamless execution of new investments Drive process improvements in financial reporting and fund operations, leveraging administrators and internal ops teams Partner with internal stakeholders (Valuation, Tax, Treasury, Global Finance) to ensure timely, accurate close and NAV processes Act as a key point of contact with senior finance leadership and contribute to firm-wide finance initiatives Ensure compliance with GAAP, lender covenants, and investor reporting requirements Qualifications
15–25 years of progressive experience in private equity fund accounting, fund administration, or finance leadership Strong background in real estate debt (loans, mortgages, securitizations, CMBS/RMBS, CRE CLOs, mezzanine, bridge lending) CPA with prior Big 4 or fund administrator training strongly preferred Seniority level
