Overview
Position Title: Head of Capital Replacements Location: Ashburn, VA; Dallas, TX; NYC, NY; Chicago, IL Your role: As the Program Manager responsible for End of Life (EOL), you will lead a global, multi-year program managing the lifecycle transition and retirement of critical data center infrastructure. This role oversees one of the most strategically important capital programs in the organization, requiring exceptional leadership, financial discipline, and the ability to align multiple global stakeholders. The successful candidate will combine deep program management expertise with strong finance and construction knowledge, and will influence senior leadership while ensuring flawless execution of a complex, multi-region program spanning design, construction, operations, finance, and supply chain.
What You’ll Do
Global Program Leadership – Drive the planning and execution of the data center End of Life program, ensuring alignment with business strategy, capacity requirements, and operational continuity.
Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management – Partner with executives and senior leaders across design, engineering, construction, operations, finance, and supply chain to deliver results with clarity and accountability.
Capital Program Oversight – Lead a large-scale capex program, ensuring disciplined financial forecasting, governance, and capital deployment across multiple regions.
Risk & Compliance Management – Anticipate and mitigate risks related to supply chain, construction timelines, operations continuity, and regulatory compliance.
Governance & Reporting – Establish and lead governance structures, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to keep executive leadership informed on progress, risks, and outcomes.
Operational Excellence – Ensure EOL programs are executed with minimal business disruption while maintaining safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to optimize program delivery models, streamline procurement and vendor management, and improve global lifecycle management processes.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS in Engineering, Finance, or related field) preferred.
10+ years of progressive program management experience in data centers, construction, infrastructure, or related fields.
Proven experience leading complex, global capital programs.
Strong background in finance, construction, or engineering, with ability to balance technical, operational, and financial requirements.
Demonstrated success working within large, matrixed, and global organizations.
Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at the highest levels.
Strong financial acumen, with expertise in capital planning, forecasting, and governance.
Deep understanding of supply chain dynamics and lifecycle management in a global context.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to manage risk and deliver results in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Our Compensation Philosophy We offer a competitive compensation package, excellent benefits, and an environment that recognizes contributions. Compensation ranges reflect minimum to maximum targets for new hires, with actual pay based on factors including skills, experience and education. Total compensation may include salary, bonuses, and equity awards.
Compensation range: $190,000 - $230,000.
Responsibilities
Direct the capital replacements program strategy, overseeing multi-discipline teams to execute the transition and retirement of data center assets.
Partner with Engineering, Construction, and Regional Operations teams to develop and implement the program.
Manage the program’s budget, timeline, and resources, ensuring projects are completed successfully.
Conduct regular reviews to assess progress, identify risks, and drive mitigation actions.
Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to deliver program objectives.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance the program.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience in data center operations, construction, or related fields.
Demonstrated leadership managing complex, multi-year capital programs.
Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate diverse teams.
Budget management expertise and a results-driven approach.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
