The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The General Manager sets the restaurant’s goals with leadership and creates a plan to achieve them. To reach goals, the General Manager leads a team of Department Managers who have specific responsibilities. This includes helping Department Managers set their goals, following up on progress, and coaching to improve their departments. The General Manager may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team for the future. Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience in high-volume locations. A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants. Qualifications
