QinetiQ is seeking a Senior Director of Operations to drive operational departments in an industrial environment to align with customer and corporate imperatives. The Senior Director of Operations will report directly to the Chief Efficiency Officer of QinetiQ US, and is responsible for leading Manufacturing, Production, Quality, Configuration Management, Supply Chain, and Environmental Health and Safety. The Dir of Operations must be a versatile individual connecting with individuals on the shop floor as well as executive leadership, bringing proven leadership and a strong operations background to improve performance with a substantive focus on manufacturing and production operations in the Franklin, MA area. This role will oversee daily operations and ensure cross-department collaboration to drive company goals and objectives and support Engineering and Profit and Loss leaders in the execution of corporate priority requirements. The Dir of Operations must be able to drive the current state, while also collaboratively building the future state of the organization. Duties include: Responsibilities

Lead and drive all Operations departments, including manufacturing, production, quality, configuration management, supply chain, EHS, and other functions to align with strategic objectives. Provide leadership and strategy for manpower and resourcing of core operational functions to drive results in support of P&L on time delivery, ensuring Cost, Schedule, and Performance discipline. Support P&L performance through integrated product/program teams, corrective action resolution, governance, and program excellence. Establish and drive relevant data, metric, key performance indicators, and service level agreements into the business to increase effectiveness and efficiency. Work with P&L leaders, Engineering, and Chief Growth officer to develop product road-maps supporting growth initiatives including business plans, business investment cases, and client engagements. Identify and maintain inventory of relevant corporate certifications (ISO, AS, CMMI) required by contracts and to support Growth and the P&L leader objectives. Oversee relevant budget planning and cost control initiatives across operations. Demonstrate strong leadership to manage and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve goals. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills, leveraging data-driven insights to guide decision-making. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental and quality standards, and relevant industry requirements. Provide strong leadership and mentorship to team and direct reports, including future hiring, building, and development of the team. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations or related field, Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 12 years of progressive leadership experience in engineering, operations and manufacturing, with a strong knowledge of the Defense Industry. Strong track record of delivering on key financial and operational performance indicators. Proven experience driving Continuous Improvement (CI), lean, standardization, EHS, quality, six sigma, Kaizen; in engineering or manufacturing environment. Proven track record for directing strategic prioritization to achieve requirements within Cost, Schedule, and Performance targets. Energy, drive, track record of building high performing teams and developing team members. High sense of urgency and ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives with competing priorities. Demonstrated ability to influence and work cross-functionally with multiple groups and leaders. Ability and willingness to work on-site in Franklin, MA, with occasional travel to Virginia or other locations. Company EEO Statement
