Garnet Health Doctors is actively searching for a dynamic Gastroenterologist to join our team at our state-of-the-art facilities in Middletown and Harris. In this role, you will thrive in a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, catering to a diverse patient community. Full time position Monday through Friday 8:00 – 4:30 p.m. with 1:4 call schedule Board-certified/board eligible Advanced Practice Provider support Core faculty opportunities within IM residency program What we offer: Generous sign-on bonus Competitive compensation between $555,868 and $717,718 per year* PTO, 403(b) including employer match, life, health, vision, dental and disability insurance offered CME time and generous allowance Paid occurrence-based malpractice Visa and Green Card Sponsorship Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine teaching opportunity Relocation assistance Resident and Fellowship stipends *Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisement. Minimum Education: M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy Residency trained in USA Fellowship in Gastroenterology Minimum Experience:
Graduating from Gastroenterology Fellowship are welcome to apply Certification/Registration: Active NY State Medical License Board Eligibility/Board Certification in Gastroenterology within 5 years of fellowship completion DEA - NY State required Infection Control - NY State Certified BLS certification preferred; ACLS certification required ECFMG required if applicable Physical Requirements:
Stands, walks, sits intermittently throughout the day. Lifts, pushes, pulls light to heavy weights as required Working Conditions: Environmental Demands and Exposure to Hazards: Works in a clean, well-lit, heated or ventilated facility. No routine exposure to hazards. Physical Demands: Ability to perform full anatomical range of motion; visual and aural acuity; dexterity to operate computer and office equipment; ability to sit/stand for long periods; ability to lift 10 lbs. Mental Demands: Ability to foster collaborative relationships, work under pressure, organize and synthesize information, prioritize tasks; critical thinking and multi-tasking; occasional irregular hours including evenings or weekends for events.
