Overview
As an Experience Designer at Primacy, you’ll be a key contributor to developing digital experiences through wireframes and prototypes, as well as participating in user research to inform design decisions and measure the usability and effectiveness of best in class solutions. You’ll be successful if you have experience working in collaborative environments; strong communication skills; experience with user-centered design methods and accessibility (WCAG); an understanding of technology and business strategy; and experience managing client and technical requirements. Responsibilities
Understand client business needs in the broader context of their digital strategy and translate the needs of client audiences into simple, intuitive, and engaging experiences
Collaborate and work closely with clients, strategy, creative and technical teams
Help teams plan and participate in brainstorms, workshops and ideation sessions for internal and client audiences
Demonstrate UX ideas via wireframes, architectures, sitemaps, personas, journeys and user flows
Clearly articulate and defend your design decisions in front of clients and internal teams
Advocate for accessible, user-centered design
Articulate and annotate wireframe requirements and functionality at a high level for technical teams
Participate in user research and help develop research plans and prototypes for testing
Stay abreast of knowledge of UX methodologies, industry and relevant technology trends, and help contribute to thought leadership
What It Takes to Succeed Qualifications:
3-5 years in UX design, preferably enterprise systems and large-scale content websites
A portfolio that demonstrates your experience
Experience in Sketch and online collaboration tools (i.e. InVision, Miro), knowledge of Figma a plus
You can effectively communicate design decisions, ideas and your approach for clients and internal teams
You are comfortable in an environment with multiple stakeholders, teams and ideas
You have a desire to thrive in a fast-moving environment
You have demonstrated ability to initiate and self-manage multiple complex projects
You have a clear passion and enthusiasm for your expertise

Compensation We offer a competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications. The compensation range for this position is $50 to $70/hour.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Occasional standing, walking, or lifting of office supplies (up to 10–20 lbs.)
Frequent communication via phone, email, and video conferencing
Work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment with standard lighting and noise levels. Position may require occasional travel to client site.
