The University of Virginia Department of Pediatrics and Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition invite applications for a non-tenure eligible clinical faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. The position is ideal for a highly motivated candidate with a strong interest in advancing his/her career through excellence in clinical practice, education, quality improvement, and advocacy. Rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. Responsibilities
Deliver clinical care in pediatric gastroenterology with emphasis on excellence in patient outcomes. Contribute to education and training within the division, including supervision and mentoring of trainees. Engage in quality improvement initiatives and advocacy to advance child health. Collaborate with colleagues in Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Radiology, Transplant Surgery, and adult Gastroenterology to provide comprehensive interventional care. Participate in the division’s research portfolio and global health activities as applicable. Qualifications
MD or DO degree. Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric gastroenterology. Eligible for appointment to the University of Virginia faculty. Application Instructions
