About This Role As a Physician in Breast Surgical Oncology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will join a growing breast surgery division with the opportunity to contribute to the development of a service-oriented breast surgery program across Salt Lake County. The ideal candidate will be passionate about breast surgery, collaborative in nature, and committed to advancing breast cancer care in our community.
You’ll practice at Intermountain Medical Center
You’ll have at least two dedicated block days of surgery and two clinic days per week
You’ll provide exclusive breast surgery care with no general surgery or ER call expectations
You may need to cover call for your own patients
You’ll participate in tumor boards and specialty breast cancer meetings
Competitive salary including incentive compensation, a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance (if applicable)

What You’ll Bring
Fellowship-training in Breast Surgical Oncology required
MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery and/or Breast Surgical Oncology
Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

With quick access off the I-15 corridor, you can get almost anywhere in a matter of minutes. The Wasatch Mountains, world-renowned ski resorts, hiking trails, cultural activities, and sporting events are only moments away. The Utah Symphony, Ballet West and Pioneer Theater Company offer performances, and the Eccles Theater hosts national tours.
