BioProcess Equipment & Automation (BEA) is a global leader in single-use technologies for biomanufacturing. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Order Project Management & Fulfillment to join the BEA Leadership Team. This role is ideal for an experienced people leader and change agent with a strong background in project management, strategy, and organizational leadership. The Director will lead end-to-end execution of coordinated bioprocessing equipment and automation projects, ensuring customer happiness, timely and on-budget delivery, and revenue recognition. This individual will drive operational excellence, build high-performing teams, and shape the future growth of the business. Responsibilities
Lead execution of complex hardware and controls projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to customer expectations. Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Commercial, and Logistics to drive alignment and customer success. Establish measures for project performance (lead times, delivery efficiency, customer happiness) and drive continuous improvement (PPI). Coordinate and manage departmental budgets while planning for rapid international growth. Contribute to sales pipeline planning and participate in the SIOP process; collaborate on sales enablement. Contribute to BEA senior leadership team meetings, setting objectives and strategies and ensuring execution (e.g., standardizing SKUs and driving customer adoption). Recruit, develop, and retain a motivated project fulfillment team; implement a robust experience strategy to sustain growth. Champion change management initiatives to drive efficiency, standardization, and cultural alignment. Education
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or business field required. MBA or equivalent experience preferred. Experience
Minimum of 8 years of experience leading projects, programs, or products with cross-departmental impact. 5+ years of people leadership experience in building and motivating teams. Strong customer orientation with experience working with clients and commercial teams across diverse channels. Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence at various levels. Proven change leader with bias for action and strong problem-solving skills. Experience with complex capital equipment; Life Sciences industry experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Strong strategic and financial competence; ability to interpret P&L and align with portfolio strategy. Outstanding project planning and execution skills with attention to detail. Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and drive timely decisions. Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across global, diverse teams. Compensation And Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position in Massachusetts is $160,100.00–$225,000.00. This position may be eligible for a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance.
