West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences seek a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Weirton and Wheeling, West Virginia and will also provide remote services. Duties : The successful candidate will practice in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, provide excellent patient care, and be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications : MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent; eligible for state medical license. Completion of an ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency and a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship. Board certified/eligible in MFM by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. All qualifications must be met by time of appointment. The Opportunity

The Maternal-Fetal Care Team uses a multidisciplinary approach to help women with high-risk pregnancies, including advanced imaging to diagnose fetal conditions prenatally and connecting families with neonatologists and pediatric subspecialists when needed. Services include: Care and counseling before pregnancy begins (preconception care) for women with increased medical, surgical, or genetic risks Integrated care for chronic conditions during pregnancy
