Overview
Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join the outpatient neurology team at Atrium Health Neurosciences Institute Neurology. This full-time position will focus on Epilepsy and Functional Neurologic Disorders, with opportunities to participate in education, research, and clinical trials with mentorship. Location: Greater Charlotte area. Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week; hours vary with a possible option for a 4-day work week. Salary: $46.55 - $69.85 per hour. Benefits eligible. Responsibilities
Provide direct and indirect patient care in the ambulatory setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary Neurology team to manage epilepsy and functional neurologic disorders, including headaches and non-epileptic seizure disorders. Participate in education of learners (other APPs, students/APP fellows, nurses, and new clinical teammates). Under mentorship, participate in clinical trials and research visits as appropriate. Engage in onboarding and ongoing professional development through a structured orientation and ongoing educational opportunities. Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
2+ years of experience as an APP, with Neurology and/or Psychiatry/Behavioral Health strongly preferred. Driven with a passion for innovation and collaboration; ability to support development of a new program. Patient-care driven with a strong work ethic and solution-oriented mindset.
