Director, Platform Owner & Architect — Commercialization Solutions role at Genmab. You will be the strategic and hands-on guardian of our CRM and related commercialization platforms, powering field teams and home-office specialists to deliver exceptional experiences to healthcare professionals and patients. The role sits within the Data, Digital & AI (DD&AI) organization and requires 12–15 years of CRM architecture experience (ideally Salesforce and Veeva in life sciences). The role reports to the VP, Enterprise Digital Solutions and is based in Princeton on-site about 60% of the time. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences. Vision & Strategy

– Define and evangelize the long-term platform vision for Salesforce Health Cloud, Veeva CRM, and adjacent technologies and integration patterns; translate the KYSO ambition into architectural principles, standards, and a multi-year delivery roadmap. Technical Leadership

– Lead and grow an inclusive hub of architects, admins, and developers; serve as the chief decision-maker on solution design, integration patterns, DevSecOps, and data governance; champion API-first, low-code/pro-code coexistence, and automated quality engineering. Field Medical & Commercial Excellence

– Partner with business teams to ensure solid platform operations, robust feature development, and seamless user experiences; design intelligent workflows by integrating disparate systems for cohesive end-user experiences. Integration & Data Fluency

– Oversee bi-directional integrations with ERP, data lakes, pharmacovigilance, learning, and incentives systems; ensure a single source of truth for customer and product data (MDM/Reltio, Snowflake, AWS Redshift); drive interoperability with Veeva Vaults and third-party platforms; embed privacy-by-design and audit-ready controls; manage validation and change-control processes; mitigate risks related to infrastructure, integrations, data quality, and user adoption. Stakeholder Engagement & Change Enablement

– Connect business leaders with technology teams; craft narratives and demos to inspire cross-functional collaboration; identify and pilot Salesforce capabilities (Einstein, Data Cloud, Hyperforce) and partner apps; track platform economics and promote citizen development within a hub-and-spoke model. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

– Identify and pilot emerging Salesforce capabilities and partner apps; optimize platform economics and promote community-of-practice initiatives. Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s preferred. 12+ years of CRM architecture and delivery experience in life sciences (pharma, biotech, or consulting). Proven leadership of multi-cloud Salesforce implementations (Health Cloud, Sales/Service Cloud, Experience Cloud). Advanced Veeva CRM configuration expertise (Events Management, Medical Insights, Align); Salesforce Architect certification; Veeva Advanced Admin or equivalent. API-first integration design skills with middleware (e.g., Informatica, Mulesoft) and data platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Reltio MDM). DevSecOps and CI/CD experience (SFDX, GitLab, Copado, Tricentis). Deep understanding of Medical Affairs and Commercial workflows and global regulatory frameworks (21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, Sunshine/Open Payments). Demonstrated success building diverse, high-performing teams and delivering improvements in field productivity, data quality, and customer insight. Minimum 8 years as an Application Manager, System Administration, or Business Analyst in life sciences commercial roles; minimum 5 years in a customer-facing, global-stakeholder environment. Experience with Veeva, Salesforce or similar CRM; knowledge of European pharmaceutical commercial domain and oncology launch experience is a plus. Strong business, operating, and financial modeling skills; risk management experience; SDLC familiarity; excellent communication and leadership abilities; English proficiency. Compensation & Benefits

For US-based candidates, the salary band is $177,600.00 – $266,400.00. The actual offer will reflect skills, experience, and location; some roles may include discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives. Benefits
