Overview
Ironwood Physicians, PC is an independent private practice and the largest cancer provider in the metro Phoenix market. We are a multi-disciplinary, physician-centric, collaborative group located across 15 sites in the greater Phoenix area. Our practice provides medical oncology, radiation oncology, gynecologic oncology, breast surgery, diagnostics (PET/CT), clinical research trials, and urology services. Our state-of-the-art centers are patient-focused and equipped with high-quality technology to deliver care in an integrated setting. We support six oncology sub-divisions to stay current with evolving treatments and to provide academic-level cancer care within the community setting. Medical oncologists see hospital and benign hematology patients in the outpatient setting, in line with community practice. Opportunities
Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers (Ironwood Physicians, PC) is seeking highly trained board-certified Hematologist/Oncologists for our Gastrointestinal, Lung, and Genitourinary divisions. Candidates must be fellows or junior faculty and will have an opportunity to participate in a robust clinical trials program with a path to publication. Responsibilities and Requirements
Provide expert medical care in the division areas: Gastrointestinal, Lung, and Genitourinary oncology. Participate in a robust clinical trials program and contribute to scholarly work where applicable. Demonstrate superior clinical communication skills, a team mentality, and the ability to develop interdisciplinary collaborations. Support the practice’s mission with patient-centered care and collaboration across sites. Compensation
