You will serve as a lead clinical member of the care team, collaborating with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other team members to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care. Key Responsibilities: Lead the care team in clinical decision-making and provide supervision to NPs and PAs Conduct physical exams and detailed patient histories Diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of conditions Prescribe medications in accordance with NY State guidelines Perform minor surgical procedures Refer patients for specialty care as needed Review labs, imaging, and other patient data, ensuring timely follow-up Document all encounters thoroughly and accurately in the EHR Adhere to scheduling and productivity standards Participate in community outreach and off-site programs Follow infection control policies and support compliance among staff Engage in peer review and quality assurance initiatives Attend staff and provider meetings, and assist with updating clinical protocols Maintain an unrestricted New York medical license and active DEA certification Maintain board certification in your specialty and stay current through CME What You Bring: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Current New York State medical license DEA certification Board certified or board eligible (must obtain certification within 18 months of hire) CPR certification Strong communication and leadership skills Proficiency in electronic health records and Microsoft Office Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare, including primary care At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting If you're passionate about healthcare access and equity, and you're ready to take on a leadership role in a respected community health organization, we encourage you to apply.
