The Trinity Health of New England Medical Group seeks a board-certified or board-eligible
Hematology/Oncology physician
to
lead our cancer care team
working with St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. Responsibilities
The Chief will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the management and delivery of quality services. The Chief will work in collaboration with the leadership team and provide oversight on the inpatient, hospital, and ambulatory programs. The Chief will be responsible for creating processes, staff oversight, provider recruitment, and establishing relationships with hospital leaders and services lines. The Chief will ensure services comply with all hospital and regulatory agency standards and procedures. The Chief will also ensure compliance with all medical functions and maintain all requirements of The Joint Commission and other applicable Federal, State, and local regulatory and/or accrediting agencies. In collaboration with the staff/senior leadership team, the Chief will have a focus on growing the service line. The Chief provides visionary leadership that enhances existing programs and drives the development of new initiatives. Schedule and clinical opportunities
The incoming Chief will be afforded a flexible schedule with a breakdown of 60% clinical and 40% administrative time. Clinical opportunities include inpatient, consult and liaison, and ambulatory services based upon the provider's preferences. Living in Hartford
