Overview
Endocrinology NP/PA Opportunity in Putnam, CT. Location: Putnam or Plainfield, Connecticut (multi-specialty outpatient office). Employment Type: Full-time. Work Schedule: 4-day or 5-day work week (flexible). Practice Setting: Outpatient only. Specialty: General Endocrinology with a focus on diabetes, insulin pump technology, osteoporosis, and thyroid disorders. Collaboration: Work closely with an experienced endocrinologist.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for endocrine disorders
Prescribe and adjust medications, including insulin and hormone therapies
Utilize bedside ultrasound for diagnostic and procedural applications
Educate patients on chronic disease management and lifestyle modifications
Interpret lab and imaging results; coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
Monitor patients using CSMS insulin pump technology
Maintain thorough and timely documentation
Candidate Requirements
Master’s degree from an accredited Advanced Practice Provider program
National certification as NP or PA
Active Connecticut license as an Advanced Practice Provider
2–3 years of clinical experience preferred
Strong preference for endocrinology experience and/or certifications in diabetes and osteoporosis management
