Staff Solution Architect in the Business Applications team responsible for building solutions at global scale and delivering a world-class Marketing and Sales experience for the UberEats business. Accelerate the value of architecture across the GoToMarket Tech stack by embedding architectural mindset and principles into engineering processes and talent. Collaborate with leaders across the company to understand key business processes and the applications and technologies that support them, blending engagement skills, business understanding, critical thinking, technical mastery, and architectural knowledge to define an IT roadmap that scales and matures capabilities. Responsibilities

Lead discovery solution design by running stakeholder workshops with Marketing, Sales, and RevOps; translate goals into target-state architectures (journeys, data flows, consent model), author diagrams/data contracts, and align designs to EA standards, security, and compliance. Build compelling demos and point-of-view materials by configuring campaigns, journeys, scoring, and handoffs in Marketo/Pardot/HubSpot/Eloqua integrated with Salesforce; prototype personalized experiences and automation; quantify impact and present clear recommendations to executive and non-technical audiences. Orchestrate integrations and data quality by mapping schemas and identities across MA, CRM, and adjacent systems (CDP/warehouse); design and configure APIs/ETL, field-level sync, and governance (consent, PII, retention); establish monitoring and SLAs to maintain a unified customer view. Win deals with technical leadership by owning the technical narrative in RFPs/RFIs, security reviews, LOEs/SOW inputs, and architecture reviews; create enablement docs and reference patterns; collaborate in Agile/DevOps with Product/Engineering to ensure smooth hand-offs to delivery and measurable business outcomes. Basic Qualifications

Design Uber B2B Marketing processes and technology for identifying quality leads and domain-led delivery, account mining for identified accounts, and supporting Sales & Pre-Sales Conduct discovery sessions and workshops with Marketing, Sales, and Commercial Operations to gather business and technical requirements for key issues and objectives Design comprehensive infrastructure and application architecture solutions to address Delivery Pre-Sales goals Track and report on key metrics around pipeline conversion, demo performance, and sales cycles Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for overall architecture to facilitate strategic and long-range planning for broad business objectives Articulate technology strategy and roadmap to Leadership to achieve Delivery objectives Build prototypes and POCs to vet different applications and solutions to meet business needs Communicate and evangelize the architecture vision across the enterprise and help segments adopt the proposed solutions Research, evaluate, and recommend application technologies and lead tradeoff studies to promote adoption of the right solutions Build the technology roadmap with the business strategy in mind to ensure a scalable and optimized portfolio Engage and influence major business partners on their initiatives Partner with Technical Program Managers and Product Management to align programs with the IT strategy and architectural roadmap Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Marketing and Sales domain and tooling Experience bringing together marketing tech stacks to support personalized messaging and consistent hand-offs between marketing and sales Skilled in implementing marketing automation platforms and integrating them with CRM systems Experience with leading Marketing Automation tools like HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, and integrating with Salesforce Ability to map processes between systems, configure APIs, and optimize data sharing for a unified customer view Self-starter with the ability to take ownership, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks while maintaining a positive demeanor Strong verbal and written communication for promoting ideas to technical and non-technical audiences Knowledge of business, technology, application, data, and security architectures Experience establishing and implementing enterprise architecture methods in Agile and DevOps environments Knowledge of SaaS, infrastructure, and cloud computing architectures Knowledge of data security and compliance controls Compensation and Location

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range is USD 211,000 per year to USD 234,000 per year. For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range is USD 211,000 per year to USD 234,000 per year. All US locations: Eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program and may be offered an equity award and other compensation. Benefits details are available from the company.
