Intelligence Community Business Development Director – Falls Church, VA. Leadership role in Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems to lead business development efforts in the restricted airborne portfolio, protect and grow existing franchise opportunities, shape captures and opportunities, and develop strategies aligned to business unit priorities. Relocation assistance may be available. Clearance type: Top Secret. Travel: Yes, 50% of the time. Responsibilities

Lead business development and campaign activities for the restricted airborne programs. Develop and execute a business development strategy and plan to grow relationships and pipeline. Develop, manage, and support campaigns and engagement plans with customers and government and private stakeholders. Identify new opportunities or applications and work with the business to shape requirements and opportunities for profitability. Interact with senior strategic customers, decision makers, partners, and Northrop Grumman leadership. Collaboratively execute the program’s strategic growth plan and manage priorities and pipeline coordination. Assess opportunities within and beyond existing markets and business models; monitor market developments with the Strategy team for financial analysis. Shape and monitor profitability, productivity, and growth targets; prepare acquisition proposals and implement strategic and operational plans. Leverage data to develop measurable Business Development activities in support of Program and Division objectives; allocate resources accordingly and track progress. Drive use of opportunity management and customer relationship management tools; ensure BD activities comply with policies and regulations. Identify and implement BD projects related to products, industries, technologies, or services; ensure market orientation aligns with customer engagement to grow the business. Drive program growth and marketing objectives by increasing pipeline resiliency and velocity to qualify opportunities with a full-portfolio perspective. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline; minimum 10 years of IC-related experience or 8 years with a Master’s degree. Active Top Secret clearance. Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills with experience presenting to senior executives and customers. Understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue models and channels to market. Ability to act with urgency, bring new ideas, and work collaboratively across distributed locations and organizations. Established and ongoing relationships with key government leaders. Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading opportunity captures, including win strategy, schedules, deals shaping, teaming strategies, pricing, and closing with teammates. Professional work within the Aerospace Industry.
