Master's degree in Computer Science or Business. About the role
As the Director of Product Management for Data Engineering on Google Cloud, you will own the vision, strategy and roadmap for the product. You will work with customers to understand requirements and with engineering to finalize the roadmap. You will focus on putting customers first, anticipate their needs, and influence product strategy and investment using insights and data. You will scale products from the ground up, organize product launches and create a repeatable go-to-market process. You will work cross-functionally to drive alignment across Sales, Product Management, Engineering and Product Marketing to deliver customer solutions. You will gather customer insights and feed learnings back into the roadmap and product area. You will serve as a trusted advisor for large/strategic customers and build strong C-suite relationships. Define and deliver a strong product vision and roadmap for Open Source Analytics and Data Engineering on Google Cloud. Bring an AI-first mindset to reimagine the user experience for Data Engineering. Own and drive the product lifecycle from strategy to Go-To-Market. Understand market, customer and competitive landscape and emerging technologies in data analytics. Build and lead a Product Management team distributed across locations and collaborate with Engineering, UX Design, Product Marketing, Sales and Leadership across GCP. Compensation and benefits
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $272,000-$383,000 plus bonus, equity and benefits. Salary ranges depend on role, level and location.
