We are transforming the B2B payments landscape and seeking a dynamic, experienced leader who can provide technical solutioning for clients and FinTech partners in North America and collaborate with our Strategy team to address new use cases, 5-year strategic objectives, and emerging business opportunities. Responsibilities
Solutioning and Product
Lead a team of B2B payments experts to solution for clients and partners, demonstrating Visa’s ability to solve pressing business problems and help them realize opportunities in the market. Create and develop new solutions and generate momentum for ideas that will move the business forward, including anticipating market needs and designing innovative, repeatable solutions. Work cross-functionally with sales, strategy, product leaders, and regions to understand client and market needs, diagnose problems, and deploy fit-for-purpose solutions. Develop initial concepts and business requirements; assess buy, build, partner options for capability gaps; vet business cases for new ideas and act as an ambassador to Global Product. Liaise with other business units and product leaders to ensure flawless execution and alignment of goals. Strategy
Proactively lead solutions with the VCS Strategy team and other Visa teams outside of VCS. Partner early and often with regional teams to understand strategic goals, define early-stage product requirements, ensure market readiness, and develop product strategies across product teams. Work with stakeholders to integrate go-to-market strategies with solution design and product delivery. Provide cross-functional leadership to ensure products are positioned and delivered to support strategy. Demonstrate thought leadership and deliver a point of view on strategic initiatives to position Visa as an industry leader. Develop and implement product strategies aligned with client needs and Visa’s vision, ensuring Visa is the go-to solution for B2B payments. Brainstorm with internal and external teams to develop innovative ideas and co-created market-differentiated solutions, considering Visa’s enterprise-wide capabilities. Leadership
Lead in a fast-changing environment, driving progress and outcomes by making informed decisions amidst ambiguity. Build and lead a team of B2B payments experts across areas of expertise. Demonstrate inclusive leadership, coach and mentor staff, and foster a culture of curiosity and collaboration. Establish yourself as a leader in VCS and a trusted partner to the region and other Visa functions. Drive critical outcomes at senior levels, providing technical expertise and strong business acumen. Be proactive and action-oriented in collaboration with other leaders to motivate teams toward success. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years with a PhD Preferred Qualifications 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD/PhD), with 9+ years of experience Product and Solutioning: 10+ years of relevant product management or solutioning experience focusing on B2B payments and commercial solutions, with demonstrated thought leadership and measurable business results Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the B2B payments industry and regulatory environment; experience with a diverse set of payments ecosystem players Commercial Acumen: Track record of delivering commercially viable solutions from concept to launch, including monetization strategies Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Clients: Client champion with a history of developing and executing a product/solution vision based on customer needs Strategy: Strong ability to communicate strategy and secure internal investment by delivering results Influence: Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and decision makers globally Collaboration: Natural collaborator with strong executive presence Thrive in Ambiguity: Self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity; able to influence across multiple levels and organizations Additional Information
