Xylem is seeking a seasoned General Manager to oversee a division supporting the North America region. This senior leadership role carries full Profit & Loss responsibility of around 300-500M in revenue and is focused on driving commercial success, operational excellence, and strategic growth.
Strategic Leadership
Identify and evaluate market opportunities across North America.
Develop and execute short- and long-term growth strategies.
Collaborate with global operating divisions to align business plans.
Lead sales planning, budgeting, and target-setting processes.
Recommend strategic partnerships and expansion opportunities.
Client & Partner Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Champion outcome-based selling strategies.
Represent the division externally with clarity and vision.
Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and support.
Operational Oversight
Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Lead demand planning and risk mitigation efforts.
Own and manage the division’s financial performance.
Support digital transformation and future-of-work initiatives.
Team Development
Build high-performing teams across sales, operations, and support functions.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Develop future leaders and promote talent mobility.
Champion performance metrics and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
7–10 years of senior leadership experience with P&L ownership.
Proven success in sales, strategy, and operational management.
Experience with capital projects and long-term service contracts.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead across regions and manage remote teams.
High ethical standards and a results-driven mindset.
Additional Details
Travel requirement: Approximately 50%.
