Overview
Summa Health is seeking board certified/board eligible Endocrinologists to join our team of 4 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers, that work in tandem. The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of 400+ physicians employed by the Summa Health System. Summa Health – headquartered in Akron, Ohio – is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state. With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region.
Services offered by Summa in relation to Endocrinology include oncology services to assist with immunotherapy complications, ENT services for thyroid & parathyroid surgery, access to bariatric center, osteoporosis clinic, and a strong cardiology group to coordinate care for patients with metabolic syndromes.
At this time we are able to offer visa sponsorship.
Opportunity Highlights
Employed position with comprehensive benefit package, competitive compensation with salary guarantee
Approximately 20% inpatient and 80% outpatient, with call anticipated every fifth week
Additional support includes referral coordinators, RN, LPN, medical assistants, diabetic educators

Candidate Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology
Unrestricted Ohio License or willingness to obtain
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary capacity
