The Head of Business Operations AM&D is a strategic partner to the BU President and senior leadership, responsible for driving organizational efficiency, aligning cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring execution of strategic priorities. This leader oversees the Program Management Office (PMO) for the BU with the main objective of driving the success of critical business programs linked to the overall business strategy. This role also drives Business Excellence processes across the organization and is a key member of the leadership team, reporting to the BU President and partnering across the business. Job Title : Head of Business Operations, AM&D Key Responsibilities

Serves as strategic partner to the Business Unit Leader and peers in the BU leadership team. Facilitates collaboration across the leadership team to drive execution, resolve program roadblocks, define operational plans for strategic imperatives, and drive continuous improvement. Identifies structural issues and opportunities for improvement in the end-to-end organization via the program axis. Serves as a strategic liaison for the Connected Care organization on behalf of the BU and BU President. Leads the business PMO, including oversight of the PMO team. Translates portfolio priorities into operational deliverables and goals, oversees resource needs for projects (defining major project roles, budget, and costs), and ensures successful completion across Product, Marketing, R&D, and regional units. Ensures visibility to capacity, execution, and resource utilization to inform start/stop/continue decisions; identifies opportunities for cross-portfolio leverage and streamlined efforts. Monitors programs from initiation through delivery, interfaces with internal stakeholders and customers, reports on progress and outcomes, and ensures compliance with internal policies and standards. Finalizes the set-up of the BU AM&D PMO across Innovation, Business Excellence, and Business Programs as part of post-merger integration. End state is a PMO that: Manages all programs requiring cross-functional resources. Streamlines core PMO processes across legacy businesses. Aligns core capabilities and KPIs with business objectives. Leads the operational quarterly drumbeat for program performance management with cross-functional BU leadership. Works with program and project leaders to keep plans up to date to deliver on time, cost, and quality; facilitates escalations outside the program teams and informs key stakeholders on status. Chairs weekly and monthly project escalation, review, and prioritization meetings; ensures escalations reach the Business Leadership level when needed. Supports Head of Portfolio in preparation and execution of Quarterly Portfolio Business Reviews; maintains the project portfolio. Drives end-to-end resource and budget planning and tracking (eg, AOP, RoFo); responsible for budget-to-plan and project staffing levels. Provides stakeholder reporting on BU and business-level performance reviews. Leads continuous improvement of core processes and tools for PMO excellence, including: Definition and implementation of PMO-related business processes as part of post-merger integration (eg, PDLM as gated development process) deployed to the end-to-end organization. Maintenance of portfolio, program, and project tooling for resource and financial planning/tracking and standardized reporting. Applying Lean and Agile approaches to day-to-day PMO operations, fostering LEAN product development, process development, and business operations. Promoting a culture of patient safety and quality. Manages the PMO team as the functional leader, with responsibilities including: Fostering a culture of impact with care through talent hiring and performance management. Coaching and mentoring program- and project managers on behaviors, stakeholder management, and PMO capabilities to meet business objectives (time, cost, quality). Chairs PMO functional meetings to define and execute PMO excellence programs and promote teamwork and collaboration. Leading continuous improvement initiatives on core PMO capabilities such as planning, risk management, issue management, and budgeting. Business Excellence

Leads the development of the Business Excellence strategy for the BU and functions, including target setting and prioritization between programs when needed. Drives Lean business operations (problem solving, daily management, and kaizens) in collaboration with the BU management team. Supports KPI deployment from Philips to Business Monitoring to BU AM&D; facilitates target setting aligned with business ambitions. Defines the overall business operating cycle and ensures standard work is applied for performance reporting to management levels (Business and Exco). You're The Right Fit If

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred. Minimum of 10 years of project management experience with LEAN certification. Understanding of operational processes across functions to facilitate PMO processes; experience collaborating with cross-functional BU management teams. Experience in cross-functional project and program management and leading or participating in portfolio planning cycles. Budget, cost, and profitability management skills. Knowledge of the Business drumbeat – AOP, operating models, and corporate KPIs. For NPI programs, familiarity with R&D, supply chain, regulatory, and quality capabilities. Ability to collaborate in a complex, matrix, multinational environment with cross-functional teams; strong stakeholder management and reporting skills up to executive level. Understanding of global medical device and medical services regulations and global healthcare systems/challenges in Cardiac Clinical Services and Operational Effectiveness.
